Sterling Oaks handles probates, drafts deeds, initiates and defends quiet title actions and other litigation to address real property matters.
PROBATE
Probate, also known as estate administration, is the legal process that occurs after an individual’s death. During probate, the deceased person’s assets are formally transferred to their new legal owners.

DEBORAH A. REED
Founder and Managing Member
Deborah Reed holds a Juris Doctor from the University of Tulsa and a Bachelor of Arts from the University of Oklahoma. Ms. Reed is an Appeals Officer for the Court of Indian Offenses, Miami Agency. She is admitted to the three United States District Courts for Oklahoma, the Court of Federal Claims, and the United States Supreme Court. She is a citizen of the Cherokee Nation, and an active member the American Bar Association, the Oklahoma Bar Association, the Tulsa County Bar Association, the Oklahoma Indian Bar Association, the Cherokee Nation Bar Association and the Muscogee (Creek) Nation Bar Association. Prior to her legal career, Ms. Reed worked in Central Asia and the Middle East as an International Development Consultant. It was her work on the Women's Integrated Legal Literacy Project in Uzbekistan that inspired her interest in the rule of law, and eventually in the practice of law.
EMILEE MORRIS RATCLIFF
Of Counsel
Emilee graduated from the University of Tulsa School of Law with highest honors. During law school, Emilee served as the Native American Law Students Association President, the Public Interest Board Secretary, and as an articles editor for the Tulsa Law Review. Emilee also holds a Bachelor of Arts in psychology from Baylor University where she completed the Baylor Interdisciplinary Core program and graduated with honors. Before law school, Emilee worked at the Oklahoma Department of Human Services in child welfare as an investigator. During law school, Emilee volunteered with Tulsa County Court Appointed Special Advocates for children (CASA). Emilee is also a proud descendant of Sac and Fox, Cherokee, Creek, and Seneca ancestors. In her free time, Emilee enjoys spending time with her husband, Justin, their extended family, and their friends. She is an avid fan of Owasso football and loves watching Justin coach the Rams to victory. Emilee also dabbles in amateur photography and running and is involved in her church as a youth group volunteer.
